Mas d\u00e1 s\u00f3 uma olhada nestes exemplos:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI\u2019m loving this song.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI\u2019m wanting some chocolate.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI\u2019m understanding this subject very well.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se voc\u00ea acha que eles soam um pouco estranhos, parab\u00e9ns! Voc\u00ea est\u00e1 no caminho certo. Por mais que sigam a estrutura t\u00edpica do Present Continuous, as frases acima n\u00e3o est\u00e3o gramaticalmente corretas, e a raz\u00e3o por tr\u00e1s disso \u00e9 simples: os verbos de estado, ou, em ingl\u00eas, <\/span><b>stative verbs.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No texto de hoje, vamos te explicar o que s\u00e3o os <\/span><b>stative verbs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, por que o comportamento deles \u00e9 diferente dos outros verbos e como us\u00e1-los corretamente.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>O que s\u00e3o os stative verbs?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Os verbos em ingl\u00eas podem ser divididos em duas grandes categorias.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A maior parte deles s\u00e3o <\/span><b>action verbs <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(verbos de a\u00e7\u00e3o). Como diz o nome, esse tipo de verbo descreve a\u00e7\u00f5es f\u00edsicas que realizamos ou coisas que acontecem. Por outro lado, existem os <\/span><b>stative verbs <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(verbos de estado), que descrevem estados, sentimentos, pensamentos, opini\u00f5es, percep\u00e7\u00f5es, rela\u00e7\u00f5es ou posse, e n\u00e3o a\u00e7\u00f5es que podem ser observadas acontecendo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Veja alguns exemplos de frases com <\/span><b>stative verbs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> I <\/span><\/i><b><i>believe <\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in you.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> I really <\/span><\/i><b><i>like <\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this ice cream flavor.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> I don\u2019t <\/span><\/i><b><i>understand <\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">what you\u2019re saying.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Repare que, no \u00faltimo exemplo, temos um <\/span><b>stative verb <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">understand<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) e um <\/span><b>action verb <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">say<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).
